About the Role:
Dematteos Restaurant Inc is looking for a dynamic and experienced President to lead our restaurant operations in Rome, NY. Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all restaurant operations
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, P&L management, and revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, vendors, and the local community
- Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to drive guest traffic
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food service regulations
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top-performing management and front/back-of-house staff
- Champion a culture of exceptional guest experience and hospitality standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in senior-level restaurant or hospitality management
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Deep understanding of food service operations, including kitchen and front-of-house management
- Experience with marketing, brand development, and community engagement
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety and labor regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
